Last week I was reminded of the usefulness of Boolean operators by Ewoud Sanders’ booklet on eResearch which is available (in Dutch) here. Because it is often possible to find enough relevant information using simple search queries, I sometimes forget the power of advanced search features. Sanders’ booklet was a welcome reminder.
It also led to more information about the late Professor of Education, John Honey: namely, this article in the Sunday Standard Online. It’s now possible to add more specific life dates (1933-2001) to other biographical information about Honey which has been summarized in the earlier post “Who was John Honey?”. We would be pleased to hear from readers with more information about Honey’s life and/or work.
