Washington Post review Pinker

On November 7, The Washington Post published my review of Steven Pinker’s The Sense of Style. You can read it on their website here. It also appeared in the print newspaper on the same day under the title ‘The Sense of Style,’ milestone on road to better writing.

  1. This is how one of my UK friends responded: “So far I haven’t found time to look at Steven Pinker’s book, but I know it is doing well. I did just read Robin’s review, however, which is itself a tidy piece of writing (“smiley face” as my kids would say [out loud]).”
