On 22 October, Ingrid Tieken will present a talk as part of the ASH Colloquium at Clare Hall, Cambridge. The talk is called “Studying Attitudes to English Usage”, and it will report on the findings of the online Attitudes Survey carried out on this blog a year ago. The survey is still open, and anyone interested is cordially invited to express their opinions on any one of the sentences, either here, or by filling in a blog poll for the three sentences:
